Eve started teaching in the early 1990s and brings over two decades of experience to her current roles as a teacher and school leader. Eve is a co-founder of City High School and has been involved in all aspects of developing the school’s academic program.
In her current position as the Director of College Access, Eve focuses on helping all students in grades 9 through 12 develop a college-going mindset and a successful graduation plan to achieve their goals. She also coordinates City High School’s internship program and teaches Senior Seminar, a class focused on post-secondary planning for 12th graders.
Eve has led numerous trainings for Tucson-area school districts and teachers on the topics of student-led conferences; professional learning communities, using the SRI critical friendship model; and place-based education.
Eve received her doctoral degree in Education Leadership and Policy at Vanderbilt University. She received her M.Ed. from Northern Arizona University and a B.A. from the University of Maryland. She achieved National Board Certification in the area of English/Language Arts in 2003.
