who work directly with youth who have experienced trauma.
Traumatic stress can affect how students learn. Trauma informed practice is about creating learning spaces where all students are fed, safe, and loved so that our children who have experienced trauma can achieve to their highest potential.
Participants will learn how trauma affects the brain and how children who have experienced trauma can heal. Also, Tessa and Tim will model several strategies to help educators be calm, unmoveable, and regulated when our students need us the most.
