CommunityShare, Creative Narrations and Odyssey Storytelling present a special evening of storytelling about education:

What makes education worth investing in? The moment when something clicks for the first time? The students transformed? The jobs gained? The chance to start over?

Join us at the Scoundrel and Scamp Theatre, in The Historic YWCA, on Thursday, August 23 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. to hear true stories from local students, teachers, parents and community members about how education has shaped who they are today, what they’ve learned, what they’ve seen, how they have supported education and what role we all play in the future of education in our state.

Our storytellers for the evening include:

  • Kathy Lohse
  • Terrol Dew Johnson
  • Sharon ONeal
  • Evan Grae Davis
  • Scott Haggerman
  • John Amoroso
  • Lupita Alcaraz
  • Lucia Reeves
  • Collette Brown
  • Rich Mayorga
  • Peris Lopez
