Each fall CITY Center for Collaborative Learning brings a national education documentary to the Tucson community and invites local experts to reflect and respond to the issues and questions raised by the film.
For the 2019 Fall Film Screening, CITY invites Tucson to join us at our downtown campus for a screening of Paper Tigers, a film that follows a year in the life of six students at an alternative high school that has radically changed its approach to supporting students who have experience severe psychological trauma, becoming a promising model for how to break the cycles of poverty, violence and disease that affect families.
All of Tucson is invited to view the film at 6:15pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, and to stay for a powerful panel discussion after. The suggested donation for this event is $6.00.
