CITY Center for Collaborative Learning is excited to be represented at the 2017 Independent Charter School Symposium on October 12-13 by Brett Goble (Principal, City High School) and Eve Rifkin (Director of College Access, City High School).
Eve will be one of three panelists on the Community and Collaboration panel: “Community is our middle name, but how do we earn it? Well designed school/community collaborations produce many benefits to individual students, as well as the entire school. This session will share specific examples, rationale, guiding principles, and dealing with challenges.”
CITY Center is proud to stand with the Coalition of Community Charter Schools (C3S) – sponsors of this symposium – and we subscribe to and support the principles in the C3S Manifesto. For more on our understanding of the original vision of charter schools see Teacher Leadership.
